The room is very clean and tidy inside and outside. The counter service staff is very friendly. The housekeeping staff is friendly. It is close to the business district. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and fast food. It is very convenient to have dinner.

This Best Western is located right near the main road. All of the rooms are facing the main road, so there is constantly a loud noise of cars passing, all night. Some of the cars and trucks are very loud. The hotel only has 2 floors, ground floor and upstairs. They put us in a ground floor room, lots of noise of people walking outside, somebody knocked on our door at midnight (we didn't answer) and there were people standing outside our room talking for a long time late at night. The car park is right outside the room, anyone can go to the car park or rooms at anytime, since it is basically on the main road, so we were somewhat concerned about security.
The front desk service was friendly. And the beds are decently comfortable.
The drive from Best Western to the main trees at Sequoia National Park is around 1.5 hours, with very twirly roads in the Park.

Wir waren gleich 3 Nächte hier um für den Nationalpark 2 Tage Zeit zu haben. Dies haben wir nicht bereut und konnten uns nach den vielen Wanderungen in diesem Motel sehr gut erholen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, sehr grosszügig und gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der Pool ist wunderbar kühl und sauber. Morgens wird ein sehr gutes Frühstück angeboten. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich. Auch der sympathische kleine Ort Exeter inmitten vieler Orangenplantagen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Hier gibt es viele Restaurants und kleine Läden, sowie einen Supermarkt Save Mart mit viel Frischwaren. Diesen haben wir gerne genutzt um Proviant für die Wanderungen einzukaufen. Obwohl dieser Ort nicht ganz nah am Sequoia Park ist, würden wir diesen Ort und das BW Motel auf jeden Fall anderen Orten vorziehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

At the time there were no reasonable accomodation options available closer to Sequoia National Park, so we ended up here. What a pleasant surprise. Good access with plenty of parking. Classic motel-style setup, but clean rooms, tasty breakfast and friendly service. A beautiful view over the orchard behind the hotel.
